Yeah, usually I’m the first person to defend art, especially art that makes people uncomfortable, but this is deeply violating to this young man’s family. Not cool.

Alright, so obviously this installation is meant to grab attention and upset people. I think if it were done by a black artist with the consent of Brown’s whole family, it could maybe work. But a white artist and Brown’s father not being on board pushes this into horrible territory.
