They need to be replaced/removed after 8-10 years so I don't really think it's a lifelong commitment.

In in Southern California so I could drive. It's not so much the cost, it's that the cohesive gel implants ("gummy bears") aren't available in the US. I could also go to Canada but the exchange rate there would be pretty bad.
I've been thinking for quite a while about getting breast implants. I am happy with my body but I think they'd be great accessories for a while. I'm in my early 30s and I figure that this is probably as good a time as any. An acquaintance of mine recently got hers done in Mexico to get "gummy bears" and I hear…
You've been very lucky.
"The Look" only works if your kid thinks to look your way before taking off. I think most parents who use harnesses would prefer not to but have made the a choice that's best for them and their children. Kids aren't exactly super aware and most toddlers have no idea that their movement is restricted but they're much…
I love my MAC blush for more formal days and Nars Orgasm cream for casual days.
I plan on eating it all tonight.
My PMS trip to the market: chips, salsa, hot cheetos, three kinds of berries, four pounds of red vines, pear cider, two avocados, brie, and a loaf of french bread.
Ok, stick with ATT or move over to Verizon? I get a small discount for Verizon but I would have to submit my bill for reimbursement every month. The dropped calls on ATT are a huge pain but so is requesting reimbursement every month... any thoughts?
Only if you've got light skin and dark hair.
That's a great one. Where I'm from we usually eat our chili with white rice and I've found that swapping it out for brown rice makes it more filling and ups the nutritional value too.
I have to admit that Cinnabon might be my favorite part of going to the airport. Those things are deadly good.
Eating well is expensive. It's not just that the best food costs a lot (because it does) but it also takes a lot more time than many people of families have. I can't stop at the market three times a week for fresh produce and Sunday's bananas don't last until Friday.
Thanks, it's pretty exciting.
I think you're right. I found some pictures online of past ceremonies and most of the women are in suits (dress-up suits, but I'm just too young for that). I have a nice black dress that looks good with a forest green jacket that's not quite a blazer. Or maybe a plum/purple dress that's sleeveless but high…
That's what I was considering, too. Or maybe a suit with fun top underneath? I guess you never go wrong with a suit at a professional event, right?
Sadly, no. The rest of my team are men - they'll be in suits and ties no matter what.
I am receiving a professional award this week. The event is in the evening and in a nice event space. Is this something that one dresses professionally for? Or more party-dress (but still modest enough to not be inappropriate)?
I graduated from a top-20 law school in 2010 and I have classmates who still don't have jobs. People with excellent GPAs, law review, and sparkling personalities still can't find jobs. I am one of the lucky few with a decent but my student loan payments are more than my rent even thought I went to a state school.
As far as California goes, much of the responsibilities of the TA/paraprofessional are determined by their supervising teacher. They're supposed to work with students but that doesn't always happen.
