That's badass and I'm impressed. I come from a place where people frequently kill their own food so that part doesn't upset me but I didn't realize that bears were something that people hunted. @snacktastic: I think that this is so often missed and not always in cases as obvious as domestic violence. The statements of "you're just like your dad, what are we going to do with you?" from grandparents and other family members when negative behaviors appear really cements those reactions and feelings.

I'm pretty sure that the DAs who knowingly prosecute innocent people or fail to turn over exculpatory evidence are worse than this guy.

Nuts, man. I was really hoping that this would be a movie about how having kids can be a real drag sometimes even when you love them a lot.

Whatever the rules are, I actually think the more important part is having a parent who is setting clearly defined boundaries and ensuring that this child is reflecting on her choices. That's a lesson that really does last - simple rules about hemlines, not so much.
