In my case it is a Federal requirement to hold a security clearance. A lot of rules stem from isolated incidents but then get held against the rest of society.

And where is the comparable automatic testing of every male who arrives with that female? His drug use would be just about as dangerous for the children as hers.

Why would you test everyone though? Someone could be a horrible mother, abusive, or a violent alcoholic but their drug tests will come back clean if they haven’t had a drink in the past day and that’s just fine because it’s not drugs? But you just HAVE to drug test to make sure no drug addicts are out there keeping…
