The Directs have been mostly the same with minor differences. For example, Reggie appears in the North American version while Satoru Shibata appears in the European version.

I know that feeling.

I just rationalized the hell out of it to get both.

If they dropped region locking I'd be importing this right away.

Yup, that's exactly what this is, but that wouldn't generate much good publicity, so they're claiming it's just a revision. In many ways, it's worse than just being a new system, because it's underpowered for being that. So it not only alienates users of the original 3DS, but it also isn't a justifiable upgrade for

I think there's a very simple solution for current 3DS owners that just got screwed over from playing Xenoblade.

Just don't take my word for granted, I'm not really 100% sure myself :P The reason I'm gonna be buying the 3DS version is to practice for when the big brother comes out, but it could be a good thing. I mean, if a Portable Smash catches on just like Mario Kart did for the DS, its gonna be pretty cool... the next 'Party

Sept 13! Can't wait!

every localization takes place in germany, so it's not just the "german" localization, as many people here think. the headquarters of noe are in germany, that's what the article says :P.

If you decide to play Xenoblade, buy it (of course) and then emulate it on Dolphin if your computer can handle it. There is an HD pack for the game, and my God it looks gorgeous. Definitely the best way to play this under-appreciated game.

I think Nintendo of Europe's headquarters is in Germany, so the German localization department might have handled all European localization and not just Germany.

I couldn't agree more. Being a lefty, there have been a lot of play sessions where my hand would have to be readjusted every 5 minutes because of my headphones.

there was no higher resolution chip cable. It output better image quality in progressive scan because component has the bandwidth to support that not because it had a special chip.

I'll consider that my good deed for the day! =D

"the fee (and credit card registration) is required so that children cannot disable the filter without their parents' consent."

Just that it's not a remake. Nothing about connections has been stated.

I know that feel, bro. I just check they work, now.

I think they did too but I can't really test that theory out since I only have 1 3DS. I'm definitely doing the system transfer route since I have an Ambassador model.

One of the 3D platformers I know required that as well. Was it Donkey Kong, maybe?

At this point they could quadruple the resolution and still have less pixel density than most cheap-ass '$30 w/o contract' smartphones.
