It’s just not a Corvette. Maybe I’m old fashioned, but that that car should have a big v8 up front, drive the rear wheels, and be purchasable by someone with a regular salary. Call it something else. Especially since what they’ve made looks like a biggie-sized version of a ‘80's super car.

For GM to make a simultaneous move upmarket with Camaro would be doubling down on that gamble.

I literally looked at this and it looks more Camaro than Corvette to me, too bulky looking.

The whole rear end is terrible looking. It’s like they had some leftover camaero parts laying around and said “fuck it, throw it on” AKA gm engineering at it's finest

I’m not sure yet how to feel about that ass. Something about it just seems off to me. Like a Camaro and a Lexus RC had a baby.

I’ll reserve judgement until the camo comes off. But as others have mentioned, it looks generic.

I like the details of the rear windshield. Looks like there is a hole for the rear mirror camera at the top. That spoiler is even worse up close.

I have a terrible feeling that this is going to do horribly in the market.

Whoa, wait a minute. If Canada had sent Saudi Arabia a strongly worded letter, Saudi Arabia would have already declared war.

All or most of the 9/11 terrorists were of Saudi origin right?

In the past you could at least count on a US President wagging a stern and brief finger at such threats against what used to be our allies. Now Donnie will probably give a thumbs up to the Saudis. And going with his similar brilliant method of clear cutting all forests down to prevent forest fires, he’ll probably give

I am a fucking curse. I subscribed to Sports Illustrated and a month later they switched to bi-weekly issues. I subscribed to Automobile Magazine and David Davis died and Ezra Dyer split to C&D. Automobile became a shell of what it once was. I just resubscribed to Car & Driver last month after a year hiatus and this

Car and Driver convinced me that writing would be a valuable and rewarding career.

Asian here. Older Asians will take death over using the dishwasher. It doesn’t matter what consumes less.

Clinton was the best Republican president of the last 50 years. Only slightly facetious.

Speeding, for the person perfectly capable of keeping a vehicle pointed straight on a wide open road.

“Hands up if you remember the Egyptian military crossing the Suez Canal in a surprise attack on Israel in 1973.”

That's not a good hot take. At all.

Bernstein is 74, he quit ABC in 1984. Sound familiar? Anderson Cooper 360. 2016. 1974. 1984. 74. All of the pieces are falling into place. It is only a matter of time now.

The audio is not in crystal clear Dolby 7.1, so that's all the evidence they need to determine that this is all fake news.
