Fleet and trucking companies use these.  Drivers go do their thing during the day, fueling truck shows up at night and fills them all up so you’re not paying a truck driver to fill up those HUGE side saddle tanks.  Makes more sense if you know how trucker’s Hours of Service rules work.

Owning people who bought: 

The roof of my car is about the same height as the hood/belt line of a modern pickup - try safely seeing around that when making a right into traffic.

Except a lot of them are taller now. Hood lines and bed lines seem to be a lot higher, and probably seating positions (because people like to sit up higher to feel like they're in control).
