The bummer of this (from the manufacturer’s perspective) is that some of this is down to supplier faults. The 3rd-place BMW 3/4 series cars on the list *all* had at least two of their recalls due to Takata airbags.

My friend and fellow Formula Ford driver Dave came together with another driver - my father. They touched wheels and my Dad’s car was launched up over Dave’s cockpit. The front-left wheel of the airborne car contacted Dave’s helmet. As he tells the story, he recalls having time to think “Hey, that HANS probably just…
But did he lift?
I name-checked the F150 because it’s far and away the best selling vehicle in America. Statistically speaking, of every fatal accident on an American roadway this week, an F150 is most likely to be involved.
More importantly, since when does Jalopnik report on every goddamn car accident?
Watching this gives one a proper understanding of the definition of the word “Inexorable”.
I can’t agree more.

Because even now, the truck costs substantially less to produce. This was traditionally why they were cheaper. The profit margins on luxo-trucks, in particular, are now vastly higher than for almost any other segment.
That’s a big disingenuous. While compact in size, the 3-series has never been an *economy* car.
That’s funny, I blame the truck divisions.
Uh, no.
Needs more one more pedal.
In my defense, this is not shown anywhere in the manual for the Duo Mini, nor the Lux Series. They show the installation of the condensation cup, but nothing about the tab/slot action.
But they’re often available. Best upgrade I’ve ever made to my E91 Wagon was to ditch the RunFlats and add the Euro-market donut spare kit.
Yep. On a Subaru, I’d rather do a 4-corner suspension swap and brake job. Twice.
Brakes.
I’m so pleased by all of Anna’s success - but I’m also a little bummed, because success elsewhere is probably why there’s been no more “Craft Lab” on Geek & Sundry.
Dispelling the Myth of Bullitt - sure.
