It’s a shame. The car always had so much potential but it was always woefully under powered compared to the cars it was supposed to compete against. Lexus finally got the power mostly right with the latest iteration, but it took way too long to happen and because of that they never developed a loyal market

I used to ride with an older guy (to me at the time) who had the exact same color viffer you do. He swore up and down by it. He rode that thing all over North America — and I’m not kidding, all the way up into Canada and back to Austin. They’re great bikes, and as 40 is only a few months off for me and I already

You just described Lexus.

Because he’s a competitor and wants to win? You don’t rise to the top of any sport/motorsport without the desire to win.

Most likely as that’s the Japanese style of management.

Wish that your post was at the top of this thread.

Overly generalized, but yes.

I’m right there with you. There comes a point in time when being nice just doesn’t work anymore, especially when those you were trying reason with were never open to reason to begin with. And yet I consistently catch shit from other like-minded folks about calling out the rampant stupidity and ignorance I see. It’s

Same thing is happening at IBM right now.

Well, considering Kimi is supposedly retiring after this year, and Bottas only has a one year deal with MB, I’d say Alonso could end up at either Ferrari or Mercedes. More likely Mercedes since Alonso doesn’t have any bad blood with the team and Ferrari, despite improvements, looks like they’ll still be a step behind

I really wish they’d let the teams run Michelins. Pirelli tires suck.

Actually Michelin has tires that far exceed the capabilities of Pirelli, but Bernie has a sweetheart deal with Pirelli so Michelin didn’t even get a chance to compete for the contract.

They did used to make some exceptionally fun cars to drive and hot rod. Shame that they got away from that for so long.

I find it ironic that you use a picture of a Canadian MB dealership for your post. 849 Eglinton Avenue East is in Toronto.

Nope, not just you. I used to dream of owning an S4 or S6. They’re styling updates have gotten so bland and Audis are so ubiquitous now that they’re boring. I’ll probably look at an M5 or E63 for my next car. I’ll give the S6 a fair shake, but it’s styling leaves a lot to be desired.

And what do they know about him personally? Nothing. Assumptions only do one thing, make an ass out of you and me.

Counterpoint, most startup founders also don’t have the business acumen or knowledge to run large companies. That’s why outside CEOs are almost always brought in. Travis may have had a great idea and built it up, but he obviously doesn’t know what to do now or they wouldn’t be hemorrhaging money like they are.

Beware the CEO who isn’t willing to listen to his employees.

No they didn’t. They simply reinvested the majority of their revenue rather than paying out dividends to shareholders.

Really? You’re going to rely on BI as your source? LMAO
