Yeah, that’s pretty much been the MO for our area as well this “winter.”

I’m thinking the same. And also thinking we’re about to start another drought period after the winter/spring rains are over.
I’m a minimalist.
As long as the cold comes with some snow, yes.
Historically we’ve had very mild and temperate winters with highs in the low 60s to high 50s, with the occasional cold snap thrown in. However, it’s been really weird the last decade or so, with wild swings. Now some years we have really cold winters, and some are really warm like this one so far.
2 or 3 days does not a winter make. But yes, you are correct, we’ve still got a ways to go.
They probably did and I’m just not remembering a lot of it. That was a long time ago now. :) But even that said, I don’t recall reading any stories about Yahoo attempting to change the world through technology like Google does. Whether it’s Google’s moonshots, or things like Google Glass (gag!), one way or another…
Normal highs for this time of year are low 60s. We’re running anywhere from 10-20, often closer to 20, above average. :(
That doesn’t make any sense. How can you lock up your (single) computer if you have “4 desktops” as you go on to state? That would make it four computers, not one.
As a fellow 32GB RAM haver, I second this.
Winter apparently decided to skip us here in Austin this year. Yesterday was 80*F. Today’s a little cooler at 70*F. And it’s supposed to warm back up after a single day of “cold” next Tuesday at a projected high of 58*F, followed by Wednesday high of 77*F (projected).
No, because Yahoo was never an innovator, nor was Bing. Yahoo was only as big as it was because it beat Google to the punch and was around first. If Google had come around before Yahoo, I doubt Yahoo would have been any bigger than AltaVista or AskJeeves, etc. Point being, Yahoo didn’t take it’s money and try and…
Well, you can’t fix stupid users. Code ID10T
Not sure what part of “luxury” you missed in her post? Chevy != luxury. Ever. In a trillion bazillion years.
Curious, “... was a banker.” What do you do now? Did you suck that much at being a banker?
Are you on crack? Audi has been in the top three for overall reliability with Consumer Reports for the last three years running. Yeah, that’s right. Top 3 out of ALL car manufacturers.
What the fuck is it to you? It’s not your money. You have zero insight into their actual financial situation outside of the budget she’s provided for the new vehicle she wishes to purchase.
You and I sound like we share very similar lives. My Friday evenings usually consist of exactly the scenario you’ve described. Kudos sir. You are not alone.
Fucking brilliant. The Natty Light of chocolate. All the stars for you today, sir.
Is Headline News still on the air? I remember when it was right next to CNN for years.
