Agreed. S8 is the only way to go. And so few of them out there as well compared to MB and BMW.

We can only hope.
Uh... that quote would be attributed to Vin Diesel. Close, but no cigar.
Are you forgetting Monaco, which Hammy lost because of a unbelievable strategy decision by Mercedes? Or what about the other two races this year Lewis had to retire due to mechanical failures? Lewis is hands down the better driver. Nico is one of the premier drivers for sure, but Lewis is still the better driver.
dunno
I starred you, but you can’t get rid of pay drivers. Niki Lauda was a pay driver.
That’s true everywhere F1 races. Every track has to pay Bernie the sanctioning fee to hold a race. Some places it’s easier cause you’ve got a dictator or retarded rich ruling family like in Abu Dhabi.
Have you ever attended ACL or any other weekend long festival? If so, you could easily afford to attend F1 at COTA.
As I’ve often told my very wealthy best friend who currently owns a 458 Italia, my (now gone :( ) CBR 1000RR is the poor man’s Ferrari. 99% of people will never be able to afford, much less get a chance to drive a car like a 918. For us, our bikes are our supercars.
As much of an “Islamist” as people make Erdogan out to be, if you really think he wants anything to do with daesh, you’re crazy. He and his entire government would be executed by daesh for not adhering to their strict and warped interpretation of Islam.
this needs more stars
I’m sorry (well, not really), but that thing is hideous. Not quite as bad as the recent Lincolns, but seriously, did Ford fire everyone from the design center? And hire the guys who design Lego Duplo blocks to design the new Lincolns?
The only places in Texas that have sand-filled winds, are West Texas. I would be highly suspect of finding one of these sitting on a dealer lot anywhere in West Texas. Try more like Houston, D/FW, SA, and Austin.
And it’s fucking delicious!
No, I don’t have direct knowledge outside of the publicly available records showing the state has paid COTA $25M each year the race has been held. It’s pretty well documented. Now as to whether or not F1 accepted a lower sanctioning fee as you suggest, only F1 knows, and they’re not likely to open their books to…
I starred your comment because I agree with it, but you’re incorrect about the licensing fees. They were never reduced to $10M for COTA.
That was correct the first year of the race, but is no longer a correct statement. And there are more large, luxury hotels under construction now. The JW Marriot opened earlier this year, and it added over 1,000 rooms by itself, and there have been plenty other small to mid-sized hotels open over the years since the…
We do on occasion, but we don’t have anyone that we can trust to watch the kids for an overnight or long weekend. And sometimes it’s hard to find someone. We live in a very young area, still growing, and most families around us have young kids as well, so what few older kids there are that can sit are in high demand.
My wife and I are pretty blessed in that we primarily live off of my salary. But we also live in a part of the country that’s not ridiculously expensive to live in either, so that helps. She does work but she’s a photographer so her business isn’t a 40 hour work week, and she’s not busy year-round, either.
