I have watched the whole series and am a huge fan...for the life of me I can not figure out how he and O'Brien are such good pals (besides their commonality of an off kilter moral compass, misguided hatred for Bates, and a love of stirring up some shiz-nit). Did I miss the origins of this ally-ship?
