The more I listened to it, the more I feel like Drake is self-aware on it? That he’s kind of realizing his complaint makes zero sense, that it’s the piranha complaining about sharks eating other fish or what not. But I’m being too nice, perhaps.

^Regarding the apologizing, yes, it’s a thing, and I’m not 100% sure why. My weird theory is that because of the extra testerone around working out, men are more careful somehow? In that “I just need to get in and out of this locker room, I don’t want to accidentally anger some superfit dude and get beat up” kind of

Pretty much. They trade away their least important big man, get two picks for him, and we’re supposed to believe the Sixers got fleeced? This is how the process is supposed to work. Plenty of reasons to mock the Process, but this isn’t one of them.

It seems every time there’s a contest between a charismatic, inexperienced candidate, and a serious, veteran, competent candidate, the more competent candidate has lost EVERY time. This isn’t a partisan thing. Whether Republican veteran Senator (Dole, McCain) or Democratic nearly-Presidential with extensive experience

Ngl, eagerly refreshing comments on this one.

No no, please continue, this sounds rather amusing. You were just...some random guy? coach’s son? 6'4" and abs of steel? Why were you chosen?

For what it’s also worth, Kerr pointed out that the Cavs noticeably miss Delle.

Sager was a devoted Cubs fan as well. By living more than the expected 3-6 months, he lived to see the Cubs win the World Series.

Poor Demarcus Cousins couldn’t even force a trade to a prison rec league team. Sad!

Wojo, Cavs bloggers, etc. have been criticizing Lebron’s group for years.

It was interesting watching LBJ call a word foul on “posse” to avoid confronting the long-time (accurate) rumors that his friends are mooches who demand favors. Just shows that Phil isn’t the only one who can play games, heh.

Draymond’s hustle plays in the 2nd OT impressed me. He was stealing rebounds from other players who thought they were in position, in the way that an oversized middle school/high school player can do, but this is the pros, and he was making it look simple!

...it’s worse than you think, heh.

Bjelica put up that 24-8 game on the Lakers, now that I think about it. Ugh Thibs is going to ruin this, isn’t he?

That’s a good point about overload of big men. Denver and LA also have a surplus. I’ve been wondering for a while why no trades, that may be why; too much of a glut.

This is a stretch, but what about sending Dieng and Muhammed to the Lakers for Deng and Larry Nance Jr.? But you/author are right, that trade is not getting Minnesota to the playoffs anytime soon.

I like the article, Chris, but isn’t Gorgui Dieng the logical trade candidate here? Package him and, say, Shabazz and the Timberwolves could probably get back an average PF and some bench strength. Shabazz has shown flashes of talent, can probably still get something for him too if they trade him now.

Right? That kid can always say he absolutely rejected Lebron, amazing play.

I didn’t know that! hmm. Sounds like an interesting follow-up story could be there, I’m sure it was the memory of a lifetime for the George Jr players.
