> “Europe and especially Asia have equal if not more patriarchal societies and yet they are FAR more liberal when it comes to depictions of sex and intimacy in media.”

Patriarchal men are open about how much they love Patriarchal sex.

it’s always going to baffle me why guns and violence and outright gore are hunky-dory for the wider audience, but implied sex continues to be off-limits.

I think the moral of this thread is “Everyone should watch The Prestige again.”

I agree that gamer “outrage” can be pretty tiresome sometimes.  That said, these seem like legitimate criticisms that are relevant to a purchase decision.  If they delivered less than they promised, consumers should be informed.

Starring Elijah Wood as Daniel Radcliffe and Daniel Radcliffe as Elijah Wood?

Wow... I have never thought about that until now, but thinking about it makes me totally angry, too. That would have been perfect.

Now You See Me 2 should have fucking been called And Now You Don't, and it makes me irrationally angry that it wasn't.

I just want to add that the Pro Controller is a really really nice controller. It makes going back to the joy boys a tough time. But PowerA’s wired pro controller substitute is not half bad at all. I haven’t used the wireless one but I have no reason to assume it feels any worse. The wired controller feels just a

Also, if you happen to have non-switch controllers, check out the 8bitdo’s adapter (and their controllers).

Target had for handheld mode the left and right hori joycons for $5(not a black friday sale). Mario and Zelda themed were available in my store. No Bluetooth so handhold only but it has a real dpad.

Afairc Nintendo will repair/replace your joycon for free if you have drift issues; this also applies to joycon out of warranty. They started offering this when a class action lawsuit was being prepaired.

iirc, the Switch now has support for generic USB controllers. You might have some that work already.

If you have a Ps4 or XB1, you can get a USB adapter that allows their controllers to be used in place of a Switch Pro controller. I just bought the one from 8bitdo, and it works well, even with motion controls. Was 12EUR, rather than a full new pro controller.

For handheld mode, I really enjoy the HORI Split Pad Pro Daemon X Machina Edition. It basically turns your JoyCons into two halves of a pro controller. They only work when attached to the Switch, as they don’t have wireless functionality, so you may want a third party controller for TV mode. I never use my JoyCons

I’m loving 8BitDo’s SN30 Pro+ controller. Solid construction, VERY comfortable to grip, and because the d-pad is in the upper left you can use it for both 2D and 3D games without straining the thumbs. It even comes in three designs: old school Game Boy, SNES, and standard black. The SNES one even has the convex and

Lol, how can you even play with the Joycons? I find them super uncomfortable (and I don’t have huge hands).
Definitely get a Pro Controller!
I wouldn’t call it biting the bullet. I would call it the only way to play on the Switch!
Make sure to buy either one of the special edition ones or one of the new model because

i gotta say: i was in your boat. My launch Joy Cons got The Drift and a new set fizzled out for mysterious reasons. So I got fed-up and just bought an official Nintendo Pro controller and buddy, it’s one of the best purchases I’ve ever made. It’s a Top 5 controller I’ve ever used. It effectively transitioned me to a

PowerA Pro Controllers are notorious for drift problems in the left thumbstick, so be wary of that.

I’ve heard good things about 8BitDo’s products for the Switch, and they’ve got more options than you can shake a stick at depending on your exact needs. I’m not sure if they can wake the Switch from sleep, though, so that’s a concern. People also seem to like PowerA’s GameCube-style controller, which apparently can
