How at all is $173,000 in four days "disappointing"? It took me a month and a half to crowd fund $1500 for a comic.

Kotaku - the only place where you'll see two topics unrelated to one another mashed together in a mad frenzy.
This is all you have to say on the matter, Kotaku?
Playing in the BWEs - sometimes I found myself progressing faster than I could level up, fighting level 20s while only level 15-16, even though I'd cleared all of the previous zone. Does this continue throughout? Will players feel 'forced' into playing PvP in order to level up to keep up with their PvE content?
Is there any room for user-generated content in GW2 in the future? I don't mean things like mods - but weapon designs, characters, dynamic events, etc.
What kind of content will thinks such as expansions end up giving us? Will we see extensive new areas with new professions(and perhaps new races) such as GW1, or something less?
Will GW1 see continued updates, as was promised numerous times? I recall hearing things about new holiday events, as well as the continuation of GWBeyond, yet none of which have been seen.
I apologize for misreading what you said, I got a bit lost in the grammar mistakes. If you've got nothing positive to say at all - even constructive criticism - please don't even bother commenting.
We originally were going to go with sprites 64 pixels tall, but it ended up being too large. Having them at this size fits well with our environment designs as well as plays on the 'retro' kind of factor. We could have gone with taller sprites, but in large areas we wouldn't be able to fit as much content(in the later…
All of our art is made from scratch. None the less, I've passed on your comments to our artist(as I said above as well, chracter design is still a very much work-in-progress area).
First of all, these are originally created. Second, combat systems are in the works at the moment, so expect pictures of that soon.
As I mentioned in another comment, these aren't our finalized NPCs. Our artist whipped them up for use for now simply because they give a good baseline for character size. Throughout development, the character design is very likely to change multiple times(and it already has, too).
The character art style is still being defined(as inevitably it will change through the course of development). Our artist whipped these up mainly as placeholders for now.
The fact you're saying we're using a RPG maker tool is rather ridiculous. All art being made is by-hand and coding is done from scratch in an engine we've developed in C#. So please, don't doubt our 'effort'.
If anyone feels like seeing the video, I've re-uploaded it.
@Xusder: That can happen with their version, too, in that sense.
@Xusder: People would most likely not do it, as it's more than a few simple textures.
@Lone: The textures the creator has made are incredibly simple, there's no disputing it. It'll be nice when they make it for every weapon, and possibly a map for it. For now, it's nothing really worthy of praise.
@Prosthetics: "You make them then". I'm going to be doing this, now, because of your comment, but slightly different. Instead, it'll be a L4D2 survival map, with custom survivor textures, and possibly custom zombie models.
As well, I'd like to add that ground textures and such for this, if made, will look very terrible without editing the maps themselves. This is due to the fact that most of the ground/wall textures are based off of repeated textures, and tron-ifying them will look terrible.
