I work for a recruitment firm and spend all day looking for candidates for a wide variety of jobs. If you are really looking to get hired, I recommend two things:

One new super power per day.

All great points and ones with which I agree. I think, though, the last bastion is TV, where lots of shows are all ridiculously walled-gardened if available at all. Granted, that falls somewhat into your movie industry argument, but it's even worse with the state of cable providers and their anti-customer proclivities.

I've read interviews with Martin wherein he implied it will be the finale for this season.
