I got a Samsung E1190 for GBP10 when I was in the UK last year. The battery lasts for ages (over a week, easy), it's small, nice. But it's a very basic dumb-phone, with no music player, no fancy tools and options, no Bluetooth.

If it's a good touch screen, and most nowadays are, then you'll like it in the end. I type/swipe pretty fast on my Android with Slide IT, and before that I really loved T9. But what I really like is the speed in scrolling/swiping through menus.

I play the electric bass (see my avatar?). I understand about sound, frequencies, wavelength, propagation, etc.

Read the article. At the end of the article there's a link to the XDA Developer's forum. Download it from the thread.

It will void the warranty, but it won't "tell your carrier". But it's a company phone, and I don't think you want to void its warranty.

Well, I've tried Taptu, Pulse, Google Currents, and a bunch of other Google Readers. Press I coudn't even try: not compatible with my Galaxy Ace, Android 2.3.4.

As an Android user, I just couldn't understand what the vibe about Instagram was. When it came to Android I decided to try it, just to find out that it's just a huge-size application that applies some filters to photos and uploads them to the web.

Exactly what I was thinking. No need to remove from wallet.

Not an enclosure, but, as a home user, my 1TB Buffalo Linkstation has been great for a few years now.

I tend to do that as well, but it's not always possible. Sometimes I fear it turns in to an OCD...

Just what I was thinking... I have a profile that does that. And that "pulses" WiFi and Sync now and then during the night.

The problem about using paper towels is the amount of waste. Go to a shopping centre on a busy day and walk in to a toilet where paper towels are used and you'll see what I mean.

I agree. First thing I noticed was how fast his heart speeds up and how long it takes to slow down. He MUST consider a change.

I've read about AirDroid, but I've been using Remote Web Destkop for ages, since before AirDroid existed, I think.
