Comparing the "The Wax Tailor" songs and the other songs in MP3Gain, does it show that TWT songs have a higher gain, or are they now close to the other songs?

I'm sure you don't need a data plan to use GPS, at least with Android. It doesn't make sense anyway: the GPS signals come from the satellites, not through your phone provider.
