There are some ways:

Specifically for Android, to download and purchase, I visit PDAssi once in a while. I like it because they accept PayPal as well. [android.pdassi.com]

Macintosh question: this friend of mine was given a Mac Book (I'm not sure which model - it's very thin, and it's silver). It came with Mac OS and Windows 7 installed.

Get free application "Radio? Sure!" to listen to radio via Internet. It comes already with a huge list of radio stations from around the world. Sort the list by country, and see what they have for the countries you mentioned. The description of each station will provide some more info.

I'm planning on getting one of these "universal" USB chargers, that plug in the wall or in the car cigarette lighter socket. Then I can charge iPod, Sony Ericsson and Samsung phone.

$599 every two years? I bought Office 2007 Home & Office with three licenses for about $50, back in 2007. One payment - not a yearly payment.

If by "Fit to Width" you mean "Reflow" (zoom to text, and it "Fits to Width"), then ezPDF has that. And it auto-magically OCRs scanned documents to fit them to width as well.

Tried Aldiko and many, many others, including Moon+. Aldiko doesn't open many formats, and is big in size. Moon+ can't render CHM filed properly.
