A-ha... in the morning...

$599 every two years? I bought Office 2007 Home & Office with three licenses for about $50, back in 2007. One payment - not a yearly payment.

If by "Fit to Width" you mean "Reflow" (zoom to text, and it "Fits to Width"), then ezPDF has that. And it auto-magically OCRs scanned documents to fit them to width as well.

Tried Aldiko and many, many others, including Moon+. Aldiko doesn't open many formats, and is big in size. Moon+ can't render CHM filed properly.

Hi.

Hi.

Music? I'm glad my laptop is on "mute" and I never knew that there was any sound...

I like your note for dummies: "this will not work if you take cold showers".

I second Remote Web Desktop. Lots of features, web or FTP access, free...

I use the same idea when I arrive at an airport or bus station and need to get a taxi. Usually the ones at the arrival terminal are crap. So I just walk to the departure terminal, and hop in to the taxi of someone that's just arriving.

Pretzi: Very impressive! But for $60/year to make presentations private (and more features), it starts to become expensive. Unless one can make a free public presentation, download it, and then remove it.

Tasker

Ahhhh... that was possible in PalmOS, with the great app developed by the great Dimitry Grinberg, from PalmPowerUps. I just can't rememeber the name of the app.

Those transparent monitors... aren't those the ones they use on that Terra Nova series? Completely un-practical... :-P

OK, but how do I use my computer's monitor as a bigger screen for my Android device? A phone, in my case. Would VNC do it?

xCode, I had seen this app, but it requires Android 2.2+. My Xperia X8, though rooted, is still Android 2.1. Not a show stopper. That's what I'll stay with until one day I get a new device.
