Sony and Naughty Dog can copyright strike anyone who has stolen footage of their unreleased game and are publishing it for personal gain.  Now as for the director bitching at reviewers for not loving his work as much as he feels they should, yeah that’s some serious bullshit on their part.

No one said negative reviews were taken down, but it is pretty well known Sony has been contacting these reviewers to reconsider or explain further

A polygon writer talked about it in her article on the game’s discourse:

Point 2 is a red herring. He’s talking about the company actively going after channels that said the leaks exist and arguing with reviewers that didn’t love the game enough while saying they “welcome critical discussion.”

Those are not the reviewers Sony went after, only those with some recognition, whom I’d bet explained why they did not offer glowing praise in their article. Would not be the first time a publisher (Sony very much included) tried to get a reviewer to change their verdict by “explaining” to them how wrong they are.
