I mean if that was an intentional part of the story that’s still just bad storytelling. But there was a lot of that going on in TLoU2. I’m both baffled that it’s the same studio that brought us TLoU1 and there was a not insignificant number of people that didn’t find it deeply disappointing.

I can give you some advice for this. once the the four tentacles pop out and attach to the wall the second phase of the fight starts, you can get there pretty early as the boss actually doesn’t have much health if you’re constantly hitting him with storm missiles.
