I disagree. Neon Genesis Evangelion is essential. Nearly 25 years later and no other anime has done what EVA did. Hell, i just gave my buddy from work my set of EVA to watch (tv/EOE) and it blew his mind. He’s been watching anime for at least 10 years and he said he’s never seen any anime like it.

Just start with IV and enjoy. I played IV first and then tried to go back and play the other 2. They battle systems are not as refined and they are a slog to get through. It took me 3 hours of grinding to get from the starting house to the next town in PSII. The grind in the earlier games is no joke.
Any word on the PS4 version yet? I have this for PC but my rig is getting old and can’t handle this game well. I’m lucky to crack 24FPS with settings at minimum.
