From what I’ve seen from Fextralife’s stream it seems that’s casting magic and weapon abilities makes up a large chunk of what you will be doing during a boss fight. Once you’ve exhausted it you follow up with physical attacks so it looks like anyone doing pure non-arts melee build is leaving free damage on the table.
