hahahahahah Money, perfect. Needed that chuckle today...

Love the swap, entirely appropriate IMO. Lapis Blue used to be a 1980's BMW colour, and one of the prettiest. Didn’t know Porsche had a shade with that name, too... Awesome car, great write-up!

Ferraris that sell for over what this car will sell for have been reconstructed from less.

I think if it ever does sell publically, and before the other car, it would go for 2.5 - 3.5 million dollars, max, if perfectly restored and authenticated, and if at the right venue. That would be a very veryhigh price for a mustang, but it is one of the most famous cars ever......

This car was for sale a short time ago. Very cool.

I agree with you, not because of all you said, but because any place in the world is better with less Americans, so they should all stick to the USA.

Yeah my point is they don’t have an engine factory.

Riccardo makes their engines, so they can’t really take full credit for them. If they sold them as crate engines the argument that they aren’t pure McLaren engines will be fortified..... I guess it matters to them because they really don’t like to admit it...

Would be funny if Williams were trolling everyone and that’s actually the Williams FW40 Vision Gran Turismo...

I always thought it looked like a Honda/Acura Legend, but Lexus is closer

Some guy actually did make one, it was even featured here on Jalopnik a while back.

OK guys & girls, hold on to your butts:

I shall start with Ferrari 212 Export s/n 0165 which had coachwork by some blind guy  Abbott

They absolutely fawn over its appearance. Considered the quintessential mid engine production Ferrari, to this day.

Now playing

Watch Colin McRae do it like a boss, while giving some tips...

True, but if a pebble gets in there on an old car with carburettors it can stick the little butterfly valve open and that’s bad news....

This. I work in a business with 20 airport locations, and the rent is so high - and calculated based on a minimum amount or percentage of income, whichever is higher - that if we didn’t manufacture our own products we’d have to charge even more than we already do. It’s not like most businesses WANT to charge that

The rent is too damn high.

I think it will happen in small quantities. Maybe it’ll take a coachbuilder, but I still think it will happen.

Hope springs eternal.
