BMW doesn’t have any V6's in its lineup. When I read the car had a V6 engine it made me happy because it means if there is a BMW version, it will have its own BMW engine. Which won’t be a V6.

That very specific car is not a 488, it’s a special edition 1/1 car made for a customer and based on a 458 Speciale. It shares a few traits with the 488, but it’s not a 488.
I don’t know about the idiots but the smart people will scream “Porsche has a bit of a marketing problem”.
They do know what happened. Apparently the idiot “sneezed”, pressed the accelerator instead of the brake, crashed into 2 other LaFerrari’s (massively pissing off their owners who publically derided the guy on social media) and ended up in that situation.

I can buy people getting stuff mixed up the first few times they drive this car. But if they own it for over a month they know exactly how to shift it. Anything that happens after that is on them.
