I wrote a massive rant about São Paulo, from the point of view of someone who actually lives here, but I guess they preferred Sacamano's sentence.. It should've placed higher. CDG and Atlanta are beach resorts compared to GRU.
I nominate the dismal airport in my home town of São Paulo, Guarulhos International Airport.
Fuckin love this song. Still can't believe he's gone. RIP, Lou
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO (about Tom Cruise)...
He should call up Razor and see if Ken Box is available for this shoot...
OOOOOH YEAH BABY, passenger door on the right side only awesomeness.
That thing looks like an Oldenburg sculpture of a 50's Cadillac...
The Ford Transit is a classic, it exists since forever. And the one in the picture has Jaguar XJ220 underpinnings, so there.
He should make a new car company and call it...
I would say you are right, but I don't think Chevrolet ever sold the Vette officially here, so it might be even more expensive than the officially sold Camaro, if it is imported independently.
The NART livery that the 1964 Ferrari wore was not worn year-round. It was Enzo Ferrari's way of withdrawing from the championship without really doing so in protest of the FIA not wanting to homologate the 250 LM. So, he allowed Luigi Chinetti to paint the cars white and blue for the Watkins Glen GP...
That DCT's somehow make cars less "engaging". Pure bullshit. Drive a 458 or an F12 and tell me you're not engaged and I won't even have to tell you you're lying. The smle on your face that you can't wipe off will do it for you.
Ironically the friends of distinction version (which I think is great) was recorded in the 1960's, not the 70's...
Prettier than the Opala Caravan!
Gurgel is pronounced "Goor (rhymes with moore) - gel (like hairGEL)". Not "Gurgle". Up to a certain age most Brazilians know them but the company was never really that successful, although they were probably the closest we ever had to a volume manufacturer, as you say.
The Pajero is a reasonably popular car here in Brazil, particularly the TR4,which is the small version. They are great off road cars, and have a good reputation down here, even if the latest versions haven't sold that much. I'm interested to see what the new ones will look like.
Flimsy skinny front tires. Awesome
That explains it! Very very cool.
