I'm wondering what they will do with a third season if they do - they'll already be balancing Borderlands and Game of Thrones.

Maybe that's an indication that you post too much. Argue semantics about what "next-gen" is all you want, but it doesn't change the end result. It's still a less powerful machine that doesn't quite fit in with the other offerings of this generation, and that fact has turned a lot of people off.
