They were less than Jake.

Gustin always seemed like a real cool dude and I would’ve liked to meet him at a con (I mean, I guess I still would, but I don’t think he’s exactly cruising con circuits anymore lol), it’s nice that he looks back fondly on the show even if it sure did get messy in its later years.

I mean, talk about low bars though.  Anyone would have been better than Ezra.

Now playing

I miss the first 3 seasons. I watched the rest but it was...less than good.

I’m secretly hoping that if Mother 3 ever gets released localized, it would only be in a bundle with Half Life 3 called “The 3 Box”.

Moon Channel made an amazing video on this topic, and his conclusion was that it came down to copyright laws and fair use being different in the US and Japan, such that Nintendo could get away with the musical references, remixes, etc. in Japan but would probably get sued for it in the US.

I held out for probably too long to play mother 3, as I wanted to be able to play it on real hardware without an emulator (I had also heard that the rhythym combo timing was off on most emulators at the time I made this decision). Once FPGA based players started coming out, I ended up playing on an analogue pocket

They didnt say they wernt done with consoles, they said they wernt done with hardware. So rather than a new console likely to be the mid-life refresh Brooklin (Series X with 2TB disk but no optical drive) and Ellewood (Series S with a 1 TB disk, optical drive and Wi-Fi 6E) along with a new rechargeable wireless

It’s arguable that the damage was already done in 2013, by Don Mattrick.

I’m still baffled that Xbox PR bungled this all so badly just for a podcast announcement that could have literally been an email or Tweet.

As a fan of Sea of Thieves I’m pretty excited. That’s a ton of new players.

You mean random weirdos on the internet were wrong when they said they were done making xboxs? Shocking.

Sounds like Grounded is probably going to be one of the games, if I had to guess.

This would be awful for the industry. As someone who owns a PS5, having competition keeps Sony in check. Less competition is never a good thing for consumers.

I’m not sure what you’re assuming but there are some legitimate concerns about Xbox leaving the hardware business. Some people really enjoy the Xbox hardware and don’t want to see it disappear. The concern is less “no more Xbox exclusives” and more “no more Xbox.”

Not for Nintendo or PlayStation who with the Switch and PS5 stopped selling consoles at a loss.

failure after failure

There’s no chance Sony puts Game Pass on PS5 as a streaming service.

I don’t want just streaming of Game Pass games on my PS5. I want games actually running on the hardware, even if there’s a translation layer.

I have to imagine the way this is being handled means it’s a major, major shift to third party for Xbox--not just a few games, but perhaps most major games moving forward, albeit with timed delays before hitting other platforms.
