I thought it was pretty ironic that Colleen yelled at Danny all season for solving problems with violence but then she gets the powers and is shown solving a problem with...violence! That ending made her character super hypocritical.

Jones was the reason every fight scene he did in S1 sucked.

I thought the netflix contract specified they couldn’t do anything for four years or so?

Danny is pretty funny as long as he exists solely to be the butt of everyone’s jokes.

Just as long as Iron Fist died on the way back to his home planet.

The odds of being killed in a car crash are gigantic but something most people don’t even think about. I’m not gonna say that accidents never happen in a theme park, but the odds of it happening at one like Universal are pretty small. They safety check the rides every day, and the rides have a bunch of their own

I thought about that too - when this design was reported last year I figured the wheels wouldn’t even touch the fake track and thereby give a bit of unseen wiggle room, but if they’re designed to roll along the fake track then yeah the maintenance would have to be pretty exact. All that said I think the chances of

God willing it’ll be both at the same time

Final Destination teaches us that yeah sure that could happen but death could also come for you standing in the shower. Do you want to die flying through the air at 100mph or wet and naked in the bathroom?

what point of failure? you are not actually riding the broken tracks at all you are just in a cart that is raise above the real 1-piece track.

.... They still make games that are on the disk/cartridge though? I’m confused.

I think there’s always going to be a business case for physical media, it’s just a question of whether companies will continue to cater for it. Even if bluray economies of scale stopped working because of low demand, I think adding $10 to the retail price for a game on a 128GB USB stick would still be pretty

running cover for billion-dollar companies? lmao

silence, bootlicker!

Chug that copium harder. PC gaming is a joke of ever inflating hardware requirements because devs no longer even TRY to put any effort into fixing things like memory leaks and lack of optimization.

Good luck with your next $5k graphics card purchase in 5 years.

Indeed. And notice how those digital games still cost that $60/70, even though they don’t have that cost of producing a box or disc.

Its almost like we should just pirate everything Ubisoft (and every AAA publisher) ever makes.

And once you can’t own your games anymore, the march of enshitification will ensure that you’ll get worse and worse while simultaneously costing more and more. See: literally every industry.

“Got comfortable” and “Begrudgingly accepted the lack of alternatives” are two very different things.

Mmmm, taste that glorious all-digital future.
