If the woke crowd is offended, they’re being snowflakes. If the anti-woke crowd is offended, then they scream woke and complain about how sensitive everyone is nowadays. I love the irony. 

But I see things that aren’t even changed being called woke. People were calling the episodes of the Last of Us, that focused on gay relationships, woke. These relationships were in the games too. Lol

I think most people would understand his video game Mario voice would be grating. Seems like people are upset because he was replaced completely, despite being the sole voice of Mario for the past 25+ years. People would’ve just been happy having him voice Mario, even if it sounded different.

Not the title character, but Tails (still a main character) in the Sonic movie is voiced by the same woman that voices him in the games.

I feel like Toy Story is really when it took off. Shrek then dealt the death blow to professional voice actors in films. 

So I guess Rogen should’ve showed up naked wearing a tie to the premiere?

Charles Martinet is a legit voice actor and has voiced various characters. He has quite the range. I’m sure he could’ve toned down the Mario voice.
