Comcast owned G4 since its inception in 2002. Not like the rights were bought by Comcast/NBCUniversal.

You didn’t need cable to watch it. AOTS and Xplay aired live on YouTube and Twitch, then would air a day later on cable. I think people thinking this was cable only was part of the problem.

I thought it was great. It was just redundant content though. 

Era of GameFaqs? That was around way before G4. Lol

They brought back Attack and Xplay which weren't just gamer streams...

None of those were on G4 though. Also, never seen someone write Friends like that (aside from the logo itself).

It was so good, which is why this part of the article threw me for a loop.
