There’s only about 10 episodes a season, which is less than most shows that have 20+ eps.

I had a launch PS4. While other people bought mid gen upgrades, I held on to my aging PS4. There were a lot of games I held off playing, since I knew there would be performance bumps. It was time for an upgrade.

Meanwhile, I’ve never found a shiny and I’ve played ever generation of Pokemon. I must’ve put about 50-100 hours in each game too.

Most of those cases are pretty different. Dreamcast and 360 were only a year. The Switch came out 4 years after PS4/One, but 3 years before PS5/Series. That's pretty much right in the middle of the generation.
