Eurogamer is becoming a bit of a joke. Yes, the queues were absolutely huge this year.

Yeah, he's totally Ice Cube.

Team Beard for the win.

You could fit the entire Sierra and Lucasarts 3.5 inch catalogue on a CD, let alone a Bluray.

I still stand by the fact that the CU was the best thing to happen to SWG, but SOE didn't give it a good enough chance. Pre-CU was a freaking joke where anyone with a gaffi stick stacking every box with a dodge stat in it, and wearing 90% composite was a freaking immortal.

No, it's not, but this is more about the user experience, and ease of use in a TV environment.

Raph ain't Brooklyn enough.

Agreed 1000% If you are going to remake a game using contemporary graphics, you HAVE to make it play right. There's a reason why these games became classics in the first place, and that reason almost always was how they played.

I for one am glad they shitcanned this proposal.

Have I fallen foul of some injoke that I'm not privy to?

In addition to this, Nintendo now have a reputation of changing the form factor of their consoles, changing barely anything inside, and appending a word or a letter after, as they did with the DS/DS Lite/DSi

Chris had his own Kickstarter a while back for an entire remixed suite of the Turrican games.

Just because you're not old enough/not playing on the right formats to remember them, doesn't mean their impact on the industry is any smaller.
