Yup, its in response to that. As I understand it, or more just in my view. Its reclassified as physical due to the mind/brain not matching the body and medical intervention is required to make the body match as much as possible the mind/brain.

From what I last knew, it was being reclassified as a physiological condition and not a Mental Health Disorder. Thus, in theory, making it easier to get insurances to cover HRT/SRS and no longer having it be a "Sumthun wrong with you boy" mental "disorder".
