Well, it is New York so it’s a shame law, like backpacks in front on the subway.

As someone in a beach town who regularly has to navigate around people’s nearly bare asses at CVS, I could go with a little bit of this.

You’d think someone in one of those bath houses would tell him. All his wigs are terrible.

Literally just came here for the “HE’S SO GUILTY!!!” comments. Where are they?

This is the best idea for a birthday party ever. And this is coming from someone who threw an intentionally bad surprise party for my prankster husband who hates surprise parties.

I know this is an ancient post, but it made me laugh. I recently lost a friend who passed at 90. After her birthday she would screw up her face and tell me “Don’t ever get to 90.” Luckily, since she was always the life of a great party, when it looked like she was making her exit no one dare suggest they knew better.

Did it hurt more when she rain off to Toronto with it or when she got engaged to a prince?

My stepsister allowed her godawful father to attend her wedding and he was worse than Meghan’s dad by miles. Ultimately she was afraid she would regret it later on, what if one day he actually changed, blah blah. There are lots of reasons to invite an immediate family member you have a fraught relationship with.

It is perfectly acceptable to me, lady. You do what you gotta.

He has a very Trumpian philosophy on paying his bills, too.

Rob Lowe is suuuuuuuuch an asshole. Nobody likes him irl.

At what is meant to be a fucking roast!

As someone who grew up with a father with PTSD from Vietnam, this is tactic particularly aggregious. It’s just so gross.

Plus didn’t he give up an opportunity to go home but declined if his whole troop couldn’t go home too?

This. I was present when someone miscarried. She was a teenager and so she couldn’t really lie in bed with a bunch of towels she had to explain to her parents. She stayed in the bathroom because that’s what you do when you have diarrhea (which is I think what she was pretending) and so the fetus went in the toilet.

I actually know someone flushed a miscarried fetus that was more than halfway gestated. She was a teenager, she was drinking and doing a solid amount of recreational drugs. She’s great now with an amazing family. Maybe it’s my personal experience, but my first thought was probably drugs and possibly a younger person.

My first thought was “Well, she’s definitely got a type.”

Absolutely. Mandatories in sentencing is a double edged sword. What I really like is that it eliminates probation as opposed to a minimum sentence, though sexual assault is one of the few types of crimes that I would be more open to mandatory minimums. DV is another that I find myself more open to establishing

Hey hey now, do you know how hard it is for white men to live out a life of luxury in Europe? I bet he doesn’t even get tax shelters. Poor guy.

There’s a part of me that flinches at reactionary implementations of mandatory minimums and limiting judicial discretion, but these looks like excellent and modest changes. I’m ok with convicted rapists not getting probation in any circumstance. Especially since the burden of proof is so high in sexual assault cases
