Yeah, but what would be even more perfect would be if the show incorporated some of the more interesting elements of the Original comic, ie, the bizarre crimes and characters from the strips forty year history. Otherwise, it will just be “basically a futuristic cop show starring Judge Dredd”.

I’m not attempting to justify the Sheriff’s Judge Dredd style infomercial, but as a person residing outside of the United States and looking in, I’ve heard that in parts of the US heroin use has eclipsed crack usage at its eighties height. Cops like Sheriff Grinnell are not two-dimensional beings and probably do care…
