>People’s comparisons to stuff like the Wire or the Americans are spot on in that regard.

That was a weird word choice. Sure, it means “shot full of holes,” but it’s a lowbrow idiom in comparison to the rest of his speech pattern.

Because polling has Fetterman at up by just five points. His race and Warnock’s in Georgia shouldn’t be close at all, but here we are.

He specifically says, “if that’s the case I’d personally prefer if you posted reviews a few hours later so you can have time to actually rewatch the episode and edit a bit.” And I agree, not being first to publish is better than getting lots of details wrong. Like not noticing that Helaena’s “gibberish” is actually pro

>Our girl spends the funeral reception crouched on the ground with a spider crawling across her hand as she whispers what sounds like a spell about “dragons of flesh” and “dragons of thread” before shutting it inside a clamshell.

Author: “They did a ‘Bury Your Gays’! Shame! Shame!”

That’s the screwup du jour of writers who only read Twitter. My other favorite is tech writers who say things like “When the system is running full boat, the fans get really loud” - the idiom is “full bore.”

1) The War of Wrath also involved a large chunk of western Middle Earth being blasted into the ocean.

Discord, a gussied-up IRC. How quaint.

> It’s not long, though, until the cat you control is separated from the pack.

> (See also: The moment when William unveiled the latest park in an earlier episode and referred to the pandemic that ravaged the human population in the 21st century). I appreciate the show trying not to will away COVID and its many metaphors, but it still feels too soon.

Hm, doesn’t seem to be any mention of stupid names.
