There are games that make sense, and then there is Xenogears, a sprawling epic about giant robots and religious mythology that somehow manages to be simultaneously poignant and incoherent. If you can look past some subpar dungeon design and excruciatingly slow text, you're in for a wonderful adventure about people

Nuclear sounds clunky, Radioactive would be more palatable in my mind, especially since it doesn't sound to be a true "type."

The sad thing is not that its existence is surprising, but that it's more surprising it took this long to come about.

Some people might not know this and get into it anyways. One might argue that we shouldn't be concerned with people that "dumb," but they're often the ones who keep paying for these things to be made.

Game of the year if it was 1999: Thief—I'm not talking this year's Thief reboot. That game was, to be frank, garbage—a graceless heap of Thief limbs and organs without a Thief heart or a Thief soul. However, it did lead me to play the original Thief for the first time in my life, and holy shit that game is still

It still astounds me that my favorite character in Tolkien's nearly century-old universe—a teetering tower of volumes, editions, games, movies, and fan fictions (which the recent Hobbit movies count as)—is a humble uruk who never even made it to warchief. I really wanted him to. Throughout the game's first half, he

My mind actually went there too.

I think you're missing where he said "to play on it."

Think DayZ: The Board Game. This isometric post-apocalyptic survival adventure plays more like a digitised table top RPG than a real game, with text and minimalist icons replacing anything approaching 'graphics.' However, despite the barebones setup, the desperate attempts to survive can feel horribly real. It's hard

Errr, so what's the point of this article? Like, it's fine, you're not into them and you know other people and why, so ... what was the goal behind this? I'm failing to see one other than to be like "Look at me. I'm not doing what everyone else is doing and I think it's dumb, so that makes me special." I mean, it'd be

Deep into one of the Twitter discussions WWE Games' Stephenson was having with gamers, one fired back at those who seemed so eager to celebrate Benoit's career: "It's insane how many stupid fucks still support somebody who murdered their kid."

Hang out on a WWE message board or listen to a wrestling podcast and the mention of Benoit will invariably elicit comments from fans who say the real Benoit should be put in WWE's Hall of Fame. They separate the man in the ring from the murderer. Others say that's absurd. The debate is essentially a more intense

Benoit was no WWE underachiever. He's considered, in terms of technique, to be one of the best pro wrestlers of all time. A pro wrestler can be excellent for a variety of reasons. Some have mastered the art of delivering compelling trash talk that makes fans want to cheer for them to beat someone up or get beaten up.

Not all of the shots are better, the vast majority, but there were a few I preferred the TV air play.

The Usagi on the left is what she looked like on the TV broadcast. The Usagi on the right is what she looks like in the Blu-ray release. Needless to say, she looks way better on the Blu-ray release—her face shape isn't horrible, her eyes aren't way too big for her head, and the colors are a bit warmer. I like it.

I think I just realized why people have a problem with PC gamers ...

I think it looks cool. Still would have rather heard about a new Twisted Metal game though. Miss them, they were mad fun.

Excited about reboots ...

There can also be an argument that he is correct: Mutants -are- superior. Also, give Marvel a little leeway with the "evil" thing, the early days were a different time ... it wasn't the bad guy unless it self-identified as "evil" ... even if there was a certain irony to it ...

Apparently they do have it on their mind, but given how much room for improvement there is find the work daunting in relation to expectations. Not a great excuse, but one I kinda get. They'd almost have to make a new game, only it'd be an old one, so people might just ignore it.
