This posits that the ones that don't do them well take the place of another otherwise quality game. Based on my experience, if a game is relying on QTE and bungling it, it's from people who just don't know how to make a video game. If their existence is the necessary evil that allows the likes of Arkham City, I'm ok

QTE's are best used as the icing on the cake, just that little way of getting a bit more out of it. That doesn't have to mean they have to be used in moderation, but that when they come up, they have to actually cause something impressive (and ideally seamless) to happen or possibly open up a new path in the game.

The stressful unpredictability of each button press accentuated the mood of the scene. I imagined Leon was feeling exactly the same way as me. Frightened, on-edge, despite his desire to take down Krauser and Get Some Answers. In a game of brazenly over-the-top action, it was a surprisingly human moment, one where the

Now, unlike the Telltale examples above, this was a place where consistency worked to a QTE-heavy game's advantage. Asura's Wrath had "burst" morph and evolve over time. The game's designers kept in mind the powerful significance the burst trigger held, and then they played with it. At first it was used to make you

Oh but if I went 'round sayin' I was Emperor, just because some moistened bint lobbed a scimitar at me, they'd put me away.

Does the reserved move slot, effectively cutting attacks down to 3 (if I am understanding this correctly), make any difference?

Because that hasn't been the case from the very beginning? That's the entire basis for legendaries, which have been around since the beginning. It becomes even more evident in the TCG, where EX and Mega Evolutions have taken an otherwise moderately balanced game and warped everything into a game with power creep that

is it me, or does the video kind of spoil the way it's going to end? I mean, more than we already know.

Yes, this. The early English voice cast was actually pretty good. The voices in Kai absolutely turned me off of the show.

Or it's all deliberate foreshadowing.

again, maybe we could get a list without cross-platform games on it?

He did make Iron Man Sentinels recently, it's not a suit, but it's pretty close.

I really can't make out what I'm supposed to be looking at in this image ...

Could we git a list without cross-platform titles included? They don't do anything to influence which system to buy, it's the platform exclusive titles that dictate purchase plans.

What about "No Man's Sky?" looks pretty amazing to me and, as I understand, is currently slated to be a PS4 exclusive.

The terms of the settlement prevent Sony from making "similarly misleading advertising claims in the future." The company must also provide customers who bought a Vita before June 1st, 2012 with refunds. These refunds will give affected customers either $25 in cash or credit, or a $50 merchandise voucher.

First, Sony said that the Vita's "cross platform gaming" or "cross-save" feature would allow owners to "pause any PS3 game at any time and continue to play the game on their PS Vita from where they left off." But this feature only worked with "a few PS3 games and the pause-and-save capability described in the ads

I actually really appreciate this as I am prematurely old and don't get reddit, but also find it too intimidating to try and figure out.

a "reinterpretation" usually at least has something grounded in the original character. It's a stunning piece of art, but when there's no way one would guess at all that it's the character it's supposed to be, you have a problem.

The first ME did sex scenes right. Origins would have been ok if the characters weren't clothed (I get why, but it makes no sense).
