Sassy, this comment is not directed at you, as I don’t know your situation, but from experience dealing with a lot of people.

If you were looking to invest $75k, this isn’t a bad deal. You get free trades and no fees.

My rule of thumb is I’m ok losing what I paid, but am concerned about medical in foreign countries. If you need a medical evac or have a serious incident, it can run quite a bit.

I’d take a hard look at rolling it into an IRA. The majority of 401ks are lacking compared to the offerings of a Fidelity or vanguard IRA with a variety of low (or 0) fee ETFs.

Speaking as an engineer, I think it’s the engineers keeping them around (maybe that’s an exaggeration).

You’re paying taxes on the money at some point, either at the contribution (Roth) or the withdrawal (traditional IRA/401k)

I wouldn’t necessarily convert all of your accounts. In retirement, if you’re single, based on today’s tax rate, you would only pay a marginal tax rate of 12% (8.8% effective) on $50,700 in income. If you shop around, you can find 6 month locks. They aren’t super common, but they do exist.

I’ve had 2 of these bulbs for my bedroom for about a month. No issues connecting or staying connected. They’ve worked well, but are quite large as others noted.

In college, I acquired a Mazda 3 and it was my baby. I got really into car detailing and kept that car in pristine condition.
