@Clixx13: When I was there, our tour group consisted of me, my girlfriend, 2 ladies from Australia (they are doctors who deal with radiation exposure), an airline pilot from South Africa, and a store clerk from England. From tour company, there was a driver and a tour guide. There was another tour group, consisting of

Shameless site pimp. I was in Chernobyl in 2008, and have some of the pics on www.chernobyl2008.com

@Ponies eat Unicorns: I can see that! iPad with LTE . Not as big of announcement as iPhone, but will get some of Apple's rabid fanboys quiet for a bit.

Wow... that's so badass, didn't even expect it.

@bobdole582: It's a new, scary experience for her. I mean, she's ok with balls dropped on her, but this...

Steve Jobs did not approve of you waking up early on New Year's Day. He thinks that it may confuse users to hear an alarm. That's why it did not work.

@anitesh.jaswal: Text above: "Feeling motion sick?" in Russian

I did this kind of crazy shit back in Ukraine. Only 2 story jump for me, however. Ahh.. childhood during communist regime. Was actually pretty good!

I found a petri dish with fungus in it, and a note "This is where you moved to" written on it with a marker.

@Settings: The launcher is about the same, but this is a low height coaster. Kingda Ka takes you up to something like 480 feet up. I was on it few times, the 90 degree drop from almost 500 feet is insane.

This is insane. I used to work at one of nation's largest airports. The questions on the test were laughable. I had Ramp access pass, meaning I can enter through an employee door without any screening, and go to a protected area of a terminal. I had to go through much less security than a pilot.

@Willard Fillmore: Would you leave a macbook laying around when you go visit your redneck relative?

@Kaiser-Machead v.2.3: I never actually seen it in that can. The one I had was in a round can, with a nice fat pig drawn on it. Toss some in mashed potatoes, yum.

@Snapper: Also, think about designing a proper windmill that can operate for extended amount of time at 600MPH.

@Gazoogleheimer: To be quite honest, I am not sure why. A good friend of mine used to be a captain in Aeroflot, flying older Soviet jets. He said it was a common problem with any type of plane.

@Snapper: There's one already. Used in event of total power failure, can be deployed to power flight-critical avionics.
