It's never been a problem for me. I'm a guy, 5'5. So what? I've always done just fine socially and financially. Height just isn't an issue to me. If a woman thinks I'm too short for her, then she doesn't really have the values I'd want in someone, anyway. Personality and the overall life you have are what's most

It's pretty hilarious that the comments on Jezebel, stalwart demolisher of beauty mythology and the male gaze where it concerns women's bodies, are all falling over themselves to make excuses for why they just don't feel comfortable dating a certain male body type. ah, the sweet smell of hypocrisy!

Come on... What's the worse that could happen to you?

Huh?

It's what I love aboutcha, Jezzie. Your inability to get out of your own way. Your complete and utter lack of self-awareness when it comes to your own identity as a quazi-feminist(lite) website. OF COURSE, we should be talking about the way a woman looks as she walks into a courtroom. This formulaic inconsistency is

Yes, her ex-husband is a piece of crap. This does not mean she is hero or not, in fact, a piece of crap herself.

...because good looking people are innocent?

This is my favorite thing I've read on Deadspin all year.

"A little thing that can turn into anything at anytime."

To my mind, this was clearly Archie and Cooper: "Son, you're about to learn the hard way why you don't touch Mr. Peyton's Buick unless Mr. Peyton says you can touch his Buick."

You're forcing people to rely on stereotypes in these questions and then when they rely on stereotypes you're like "OMG DON'T USE STEREOTYPES".

This is from XOJane

If you don't name names, than you are part of the problem. Stand up and tell the truth about these incidents, and be part of the solution.

He is surprisingly down to Earth (not too mention short)! The first time was in Dublin when I was at Trinity, then a few years later in Edinburgh, and next in Boston. I'm pretty sure that U2 was on tour the last two times.

This was my response to pastapink before she chose to dismiss it:

Oh come on Madeleine, we all know if he were to walk into your office, you would be freaking out and asking for an autograph.

It's a bit early in the season to be decking in the halls, don't you think?

The worst is chronic pain when you go to the doctor BEGGING for him to find something actually wrong. Finding something wrong means that it might be fixable. I've had a fucked up neck for 6 years and doctors usually look at x-rays and say something to the tune of "it looks a little bit off but nothing major".

Yeah, I don't really get this one. If a Muslim girl wanted to run with her hair covered, and they wouldn't let her, you'd think the site would support that. Not because needing to have your hair covered is an intrinsically worthwhile and sensible thing, but because people get to decide what their own religious beliefs

He's a 32-year-old college dropout who has the maturity of 13-year-old middle school twat who gets his rocks off by prank calling old widows. To date, Tarr's greatest prank has been to get Deadspin to post an article about his assholish immaturity.
