+1 for Astro Doughnuts!
+1 for Astro Doughnuts!
It definitely is! They have half-price tickets on Friday nights, and on certain weekends, they participate in a $1 admission thing with other museums in the area too (which can get very, very crowded)
Not sure if this counts, but if you have a spare day or afternoon from your DC trip, come and check out Baltimore as well. It’s less than an hour’s drive one way (traffic issues not included), but Baltimore has some good eats, and a good arts scene as well.
As for DC, I’ve taken the occasional day-trip (via MARC train…
Am I the only one who staples papers on a diagonal? When I flip papers, I flip them towards the corner, rather than straight up (or sideways like a heathen), so it makes more sense to be #TeamDiagonal
Suppose I’ll try to finish up Cosmic Star Heroine. If you have the itch for Chrono Trigger or Grandia, this would definitely scratch that itch.
Another draw to the CotM was the number of class modes you could unlock, as you beat the game with a previous class. From your default Vampire Killer mode, you could play as a magician, fighter (with no magic), ranger (subweapon specialist), and a thief (with insane luck). It definitely changed the way you…
I’ve been rocking some Wild Raspberry Hibiscus herbal tea of late. Stuff is so refreshing
I just use the hot water from the Keurig at work, and that’s good enough for me. Granted the water isn’t at whatever ideal temperature my particular tea is supposed to steep at, but it’s close enough to boiling and I’m content with that.
Ditto. I pretty much eat out with coworkers every day for lunch. I really need to stop since it puts a hurtin’ on my wallet, but we rotate through several restaurants every week, so it never gets stale.
For me, going to youtube.com/new results in “This preview is closed... for now”
:-(
I had nightmares of that Ganon silhouette when you game over in Zelda II.
Didn’t Sammy Sosa hit 20 homers in June of ‘98?
Perhaps. I think my comment reflects more of the frustration on my end from him leaving with little notice, than of the actual leaving itself. Sometimes those situations can’t be avoided, but it doesn’t make the transition of projects and duties any easier.
We just got blindsided at work by a (now former) employee that gave less than a single weeks notice that he was resigning to take a job on the opposite coast. Really came at a bad time too, since many of us were on vacation during this time (myself included), only to come back and discover he’s now gone and we have to…
I always love it in that one game (forget the name) where the player orders the items from cheapest to most expensive, and they put the most expensive one as the 2nd or 3rd cheapest and just don’t stop playing right there.
This is an accurate list
... Grocery Game has a soft spot in my heart though.
Whenever I go visit my folks, I always have to pay my cousin a visit. And it’s pretty much a requirement that we end up playing a game of Madden (because he still plays and I used to play). I’ve found the best way to get in his head is by not engaging in trash talk. He’ll do his typical trash talk but I just bide my…
Not sure how it is at Fenway but I believe in Camden Yards, they advertise a 5-digit number during the game that you can text to if there is a problem, and it sends the ushers over. Probably the same in other stadiums as well.
I balance running and dragon boating. I got into dragon boating via a friend that got into it from a coworker (seems a lot of people in my club got into it via word of mouth). Its a true total body workout, particularly the core. What I particularly love about my club and one of the main reasons I continue to…
I’ve been running in barefoot shoes for about 4 years now, training anywhere from 5Ks to half-marathons, and have been fortunate to not have any injuries. Ultimately while I don’t think the barefoot style works for everybody, there are people whom it does work for better than a conventional running shoe. Personally…
