I'd be all over turning a 250 if it was something special like a 2000GT (had a nice little motor but not enough poke for the looks) but really that changes the question.

@irishman72: it's good 'enough' for racing in prepped environments and of course hotrodders will always push practicality in the name of looks. Of course at some point some genius realized there was a lot of FOD mostly in the form of deposits i imagine. These days of course every series mandates at least a screen.
