@stacyinbean: In my case, that and a love for Phil Collins' music.

It's so much to do something that should be simple. I think Realmac over-designs a lot of their products. If I'm uploading lots of pictures, big youtube videos, whatever - I'd personally like something less flashy and more utilitarian. $25 is too expensive, but shouldn't be a surprise if you own any of their other

@LadyE: Right on. She made that shit up!

NEW ORLEANS (AP) - Coast Guard: Mile-long oil sheen spreading from site of burning platform in the Gulf off La.

@CollReg: Can't you just buy/store it on your computer and stream it from there?

Overall, I think the prices are reasonable. Would I rent a show for $1? Hell yeah. For $5, it better be an epic movie, but I would every now and then. It's all about convenience. I'm not at home often. But when I am, it'd be nice to watch what I want, when I want on my flatscreen and not my laptop.

Every time something like this happens in the comments of some blogs, they always pull the "oh the comment system f'ed up" excuse. Frankly, all of that detail ruined the response (even more). It happened on Mashable yesterday when a moderator changed his comment after being called out, only to use the "perfect storm

Does the Omaha World-Herald screen all marriage/engagement announcements for factors which could prevent the union from happening, like bigamy? So the paper finds it ok to report on "potential" marriages, "potential" suspects that haven't been convicted, but not the "potential" unions of people who's right to marriage

Ahh, the Joe Miller response.

My theory is that the "important," busy celebs have no time for Twitter.

I wonder if there's a big fight brewing over the trademark for "tube."

So how does this in turn affect the Gulf's ecosystem?

@CissyPants: Their clientele is probably mostly wealthy types that are into that gaudy, ultra-traditional decor.

Does the $90 include a warranty? I had TiVo in college, and they had by far the worst customer service - at least then. Unfortunately, Comcast doesn't support TiVo dvrs in my area. Otherwise, I might be willing to give them another try.

Has anyone made a Ludacris joke yet?

Meanwhile, Rebellious Flour would make an awesome bakery name in any language.

I happened to catch Beyonce's "I Am Yours" Las Vegas concert on Palladia the other night. Excellent performer, really intense. Her band, all women of course, are the best in the biz. You all should check it out if you haven't already.
