Sounds like a business opportunity. I’m like you - I want to see the trend over time and compare that to other models etc and maybe monitor for a few months before pulling the trigger. That would be an actually properly useful app.

Should’ve put an LTZ badge on it and called it the low spec model!

SERIOUSLY? What do you think would happen if just one of them comes out and says ‘we are in favour of making the EPA regs less strict’? They’d be flamed to the moon and back by rags such as Jalopnik etc and publicly mocked and shamed, executives would have personal details released and all sorts of insanity would

Says the imbecile. Now we’re all calling each other names. Classy bunch.

1st gear - If it’s based on the Telluride then I don’t see how it’ll be ‘small’ or ‘affordable’. I’m guessing (but could be wrong) it’ll be Ranger sized and around the $35k-40k mark which is a little too close to F150 territory I would think.

Yes I understood that the first time. It just reminded me of the old sayings about ‘monday morning cars’ and where that came from originally. It seems a long time ago.

‘when inclined’!! I think that’s where the term ‘monday morning car’ came from. No one was inclined to do it properly on a Monday morning so you better hope your TLX was built on a Tues, Wed or Thurs!

Haha hilarious and true! For that price I want to head out to my car and start up a smooth 6 or 8cyl. The sewing machine sound of a 4cyl in my supposedly luxury car isn’t something I want to have to justify every time I start it up.

Even if they were nose to nose, it would be pretty embarrassing being in the Merc and having a Camry anywhere close.

Well said. Also, in F-sport spec, it’s a massively underrated car. I’d go so far as to say that the GS is one of the best kept secrets out there.

Which head?!

Drive Free or Die’ supposedly. Yeh right.

Depends on your goals:

Good grief you obviously never read that original comments. The convo was based around Raptor or Tremor. There was no sports car in the discussion. What are you talking about? My original point to make it crystal clear for you is that if the decision was between a Raptor or a Tremor then I’d likely pick the Tremor.

How could it be political? Ford is doing this in Europe.

Why would he be worried about jobs in Europe? Did he claim to brings jobs back to Europe at some point?

Those were my opinions on what I think about the Raptor and not opinions about YOU as as a fan of those trucks. You implying that I’m a fake sound enthusiast is just a stupid conclusion to come to. That’s the obvious difference.

^^ For anyone wondering what it looks like to assume things, wonder no more. I guess you need things spelled out in fine detail right? Fake engine sounds do not define or contribute to character. Real authentic V8 sound that is not too loud but subtle enough for me to enjoy is what adds character in my opinion. This

I never said straight piped V8. Good job imagining things.

The Raptor sounds dreadful. Yeh ok I suppose its a mcfarty super truck, I’ll give it that. A bit like a super hero that sounds like a mouse. Maybe that’s cool to some people. I’ll take less capability but more character any day - in a car\truck that is.
