The question then is - are we who drive our own cars now more at risk because of the rise of autonomous vehicles? A 15-20yr old car today is probably a lot better than a 10 yr old car in 2001.
Example : Today, a 2003 Honda Accord is still a decent car and feels pretty tight today. In 2001 a 10 yr old car felt a lot older in multiple ways.
