They always go crazy and honk back as if to say ‘don’t you call out my crap driving’. I just can’t imagine how these people actually function in any other part of life.

Deep down when I see those boulders I see an imaginary person in an imaginary Camry backing into one of those or scraping the side of their car along one! It’s surely happening!
That’s in addition to them also swinging out WAY wide around simple corners for no freaken reason. Have you seen that? You’re driving along on a nice wide road with loads of space and visibility. The in front then swings out wide into the other lane to make a ridiculously easy turn. Unbelievable.
million stars. It’s all rooted in this - not giving a crap about other peoples property.
I reckon it’ll affect the Leaf and Bolt a lot more.
The idea of diving under those ships with all that weight just floating above my head terrifies me.
Haha nice! I’m jealous!
Well then that’s true for car loans too so my original point above stands - why blame and mock car buyers for buying $80k trucks for 84mths? It’s all the banks fault.
Well you can enjoy all the little 4 cyl diesel SUV’s\CUV’s all you like but personally as a car enthusiast I don’t see it that way. The days when Ford had the Mondeo ST220, Puma, Cosworths etc and Honda had the Integra R, Accord R, Prelude, S2000 etc is an example of what I was referring to. I suppose we’ll agree to…
You know as well as I do that the variety of options here has reduced massively due to tax costs and fuel costs affecting sales.
As you said yourself, people stopped buying the Accord hence the reason it stopped being offered for sale. There’s also a big question mark over the Mondeo and Insignia since most sales are…
You’re wrong. People would still want them but would be frustrated they can’t have them. With no sales, they’d stop selling them. Before you know it, a Ford Focus will be all you can hope for.
Yes sometimes that’s true but the media narrative tended to be along the lines of ‘poor Joe who’s a painter and poor Anna who’s a nurse just lost their dream 900k home because the banks screwed them over’. The banks are\were the ones mostly blamed yet no one (very few) asked if it was wise for people to be buying…
That’s true in both cases - cars and houses yet we blame the consumer when it comes to cars and the banks get blamed when it comes to houses.
I’m sure they do. I suppose we probably all do to some extent but it’s comical because we all go off and defeat our own logic by doing the exact same thing with some other ‘toy’ and justify it somehow.
Haha true on the minivans alright. Whenever I meet someone who just bought one though I can’t quite tell if they’re truly enthusiastic or not since they seem pre-emptively defensive! It’s almost like they think I’m going to criticize them (which I’m not) and so launch into all the reasons why it’s better than an SUV.
I dunno, I think the Subaru drivers in reality just love trees, protesting and surf boards and treat the car like an accessory!
You got the ‘Z’ part right so its ok!
Have you noticed something though? When we see people buying expensive vehicles they likely can’t afford, everyone mocks them and criticizes them.
When people buy houses they can’t afford then it’s suddenly the banks fault when it all goes pear shaped.
Cheap used vehicles for the Jalops though right?!
Lots of people buy watches that can handle a depth of 1000m but I suspect rarely do any of their owners take part in deep sea diving.
No one buys what they strictly need. You surely know this. If not, then welcome to earth.
