“Also, have you had your teeth whitened?”
I don’t understand the motivation, personally... I know a guy who’s both wealthy and smart - the marginal savings of using regular over premium can’t possibly mean a thing to him - but he still uses 87 when 93 is recommended. I guess he just doesn’t believe there’s an actual difference between the liquids that come…
I don’t think you’d get any extra power because you can’t conjure up ‘extra’ compression by advancing the timing. Maybe a tiny bit? Hard to say, but not really enough to piddle over. Either way, the point is that the power comes from the compression, and the octane simply allows the fuel to accommodate the increase in…
Wow...if you’re insecure to the point that people eating lunch late is enough to make you feel like you’re being shamed by over-achievers... I dunno, work harder?
“Gerber is one of the most trusted names in multitools” - what? According to whom? They’re not even one of the most trusted names in any kind of knives these days...

Theologically speaking, it’s less a matter that he desires it than that he’s owed it...as if the creation could somehow ‘withold’ its approval from the creator - its very existence is tacit approval.
Did you see his post-race interview? He definitely did it on purpose but didn’t want to say so
Yeah, I guess that does seem kinda dickish, but then....Do your drawings think you’re a dick when you cross them out? Does your car think you’re a dick when you run it out of gas or don’t change the oil at the specified interval? Well of course not, because these aren’t sentient objects, but the better answer is that…
I like that one. Or the roar of King David’s Triumph
Nah, it really doesn’t...
Not sure why the McLaren’s even bother with qualifying this round....doesn’t matter where they land - even a pole position puts them at the back with all those grid penalties...
COTD right here
If I’m understanding this correctly, the incentives don’t really make sense... The incentive behind taking over / defending a gym (beyond bragging rights, I suppose) has always been to earn gold to acquire more resources. If my team’s gym has 6 people in it already, it’s full and I can’t collect any gold from it - my…
I live out in the sticks...they’ve added more stops, so there are more than 2 in walking distance now. Seems they’re also adding more gyms. I’m far enough away I sometimes get the ‘nearby in the wild’ tracker sightings vs the ‘walk to this pokestop’ type, but I’ve had a fair amount of good stuff spawn in my…
I don’t really see an issue with people using maps or IV calculators... The game gives you a short-distance tracker and a low-precision appraisal system, those apps are just better versions of these. Sure, maybe there’s no legitimate reason you’d want to know what’s spawning 1000mi away, so let’s put some reasonable…
Agreed...seems like almost any well-fortified gym has a Blissey in it, meanwhile I’ve seen exactly one Chancy, and only because it spawned during that ‘pink’ event at Valentine’s or whatever, and I’ve been playing since the game launched.
Careful you don’t cut yourself on that edge :P
Oof - that’s embarrassing...
A thermometer measures volume of a material that responds volumetrically to heat, a thermistor measures electrical resistance of a material that responds conductively to heat...not like one is inherently less accurate than the other.
My ‘77 MGB does this
